YEREVAN. – As a Korean saying goes, those experiencing pain will understand each other better, head of Korean delegation Noh Young-min said during his visit to Yerevan.

The lawmakers from South Korea visited Armenia back in 2012, and now they are here on the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, said the co-chair of the Armenian-Korean parliamentary friendship group.

“I am convinced that unless we remember history, it will repeat itself. The question of Hitler: After all who remembers Armenian Genocide?' is memorable, and the facts and stories about the tragedy should be spread all over the world,” he said.

Armenia, just as Korea, has a long history full of tragic chapters, he said, adding “I am confident we can work in economy and culture”.
