YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received a report on Friday at 12:36pm.

Accordingly, a box was found at the National Gallery of Armenia, there was a radiation danger sign on it, and assistance was needed.

The report was transmitted to the National Crisis Management Centre.

The little box is not hazardous, the ministry later informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. They added that the little box is in a secure area, and they are transporting it from the gallery.

“There are just light, minor radioactive materials,” they informed. “It’s a small anti-fire box from the Soviet era.”

The ministry also informed us that no one had thrown this small box into the gallery, it is just a material from ancient times, and the gallery employees had found it and asked for help.
