YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 479.93/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is up by AMD 0.84 from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 522.40 (down by AMD 0.13), that of one British pound was AMD 750.03 (up by AMD 1.68), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.45 (up by AMD 0.03), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 230.05, AMD 17,658.21, and AMD 15,701, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 1.7 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 480.67/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 481.01/$1.
