Andranik Manukyan, Armenian Ambassador to Kiev, has refuted the information that he allegedly provided fake diplomatic plates to criminal authorities.
Manukyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that the article disseminated through media doesn’t correspond to reality at all.
According to Manukyan, he had a meeting with Ukraine’s First Deputy FM Nataliia Galibarenko, during which they discussed diplomatic issues. The information on his providing fake diplomatic plates to the authorities is a slander, the Ambassador said.
Manukyan said that currently the embassy has 12 cars at its disposal, which are driven exclusively by the embassy workers.
The article published in Armenian “Zhamanak” newspaper on Saturday stated that during the meeting with the Ambassador, Ukrainian Deputy FM allegedly expressed concerns about the fact that it’s not the first year the Embassy has been distributing fake plates.
