YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 479.94/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is down by AMD 0.63 from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 524.775 (up by AMD 3.02), that of one British pound was AMD 749.33 (up by AMD 1.66), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.40 (down by AMD 0.03), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 227.6, AMD 17,059.88 and AMD 15,152.68, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 2,150,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 479.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 479.5/$1.
