YEREVAN. – Since the beginning of this year, Armenia's processing companies have purchased more vegetables and fruits than last year, Deputy Agriculture Minister Robert Makaryan said.
A total of 8593,5 tonnes of fruits and vegetables was purchased as compared to 1537,7 tonnes last year.
The Agriculture Ministry is following so that the farmers could be paid on time.
