An Armenian citizens has been detained in Georgia for smuggling diamonds worth around $155,000, Georgian investigators reported on Thursday.
The precious stones were brought to Georgia through Sadakhlo checkpoint on Armenian-Georgian border.
Pavlik Sevoyan may face from five to seven years in prison, Sputnik Georgia reported.
The accused and his lawyer have not been available for the media yet.
