The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received a report, on Thursday at 12:39pm, that a traffic accident had occurred on the Sisian-Meghri motorway.

Accordingly, a Mercedes and an Opel had crashed on the Sisian-Goris section of the aforesaid highway.

According to preliminary data, there are four casualties and three injured.

Sisian Medical Center, where the bodies of the dead were taken, informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the identities of these deceased persons are not yet determined.

“The [dead] bodies of two men, a 15-16-year-old girl, and a small child were brought to us,” a hospital representative said. “The relatives of those that died at the scene have not come; no one has yet even come to the hospital.”

In addition, a man, and his daughter and two-year-old grandchild were injured in the accident. They were taken to the Sisian Military Hospital, and they are in stable condition.
