Armenia’s Ambassador to Lithuania Ara Ayvazyan had a meeting today with the Lithuanian Economy Minister Evaldas Gustas in Lithuania.

The interlocutors touched on the trade exchanges and trends of activating the communication between the business communities of both countries.

They expressed satisfaction with the completion of the process of setting up the Armenian-Lithuanian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. Ambassador Ayvazyan and Minister Gustas agreed that the establishment of the intergovernmental commission and its future activity will serve as an important incentive for fostering bilateral trade development and investments.

During the meeting, the Armenian Ambassador briefed his interlocutor on the results of the 3 business forums which took place in Lithuania and Armenia in 2014-2015. The aforementioned forums were organized by the Armenian Development Fund (ADF), Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenian (UMBA) and Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.
