YEREVAN. – An Armenian woman gave birth to a child after 20 years of waiting for a miracle to happen.

Narine, 41, gave birth to a baby girl by c-section in the hospital of Vanadzor, northern Armenia.

The girl was named Lilia, her father, 43-year-old Artash Mkrtchyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent.

“I am bewildered, I do not know what to say. I do not believe in this miracle,” he said, adding they had not lost hope during these 20 years.

Doctors say the woman and a baby feel good.
