The European Court of Human Rights accepted a complaint of Azerbaijani journalist Khadija Ismayilova as a priority.
The Azerbaijani government is obliged to answer the questions of the ECHR by January 15, 2016, contact.az reported quoting lawyer Fariz Namazly.
The lawyer stressed that the complaint is related to the illegal arrest of Ismayilova in December 2014.
In the future, the verdict in the criminal case will also be appealed.
