President of the Republic of Armenia (RA) Serzh Sargsyan on Saturday attended, in Tsaghkadzor city, the final round in the Best Sporting Family competition.

The event was held for the twelfth year in a row, and for the RA President’s Award.

A total of 144 families and nineteen others with disabled members competed in the finals.

At the end of the competition, Sargsyan congratulated the winners, and presented certificates, cash awards, and souvenirs.

In addition, the President handed cups to the delegations from capital city Yerevan, the provinces of Armenia, and from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

Furthermore, children of the families that competed in the final round received incentive awards from Serzh Sargsyan.
