The Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian and Seyran Ohanyan, on Tuesday attended joint meeting of the FMs and defense ministers’ councils as well as the committee of security councils’ secretaries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member countries.
The discussants conferred on collaboration between the CSTO member states.
At the event, which was in Tajikistan’s capital city of Dushanbe, Nalbandian also presented the priorities of Armenia’s upcoming CSTO chairmanship.
In addition, several documents were signed regarding the development cooperation within the framework of the CSTO.
At the end of the joint meeting, chairmanship of the CSTO FMs and defense ministers’ councils as well as the committee of security councils’ secretaries was transferred to Armenia.
