Ankara’s Proscutor’s Office has launched an investigation against the founder of the large Turkish Alarko holding, Turkish MP of Jewish descent Ishak Alaton.

The investigation was launched on charge of providing financial and moral support to Fethullah Gülen, founder of Gülen movement in Turkey, the Turkish newspaper Sozcu reports.

Ishak Alaton is the only Turkish businessman, who openly urged the Turkish authorities to acknowledge the Armenian Genocide, apologize and honor the memory of the victims.

“We have committed countless murders for 90 years and put the corpses in the closet thinking no one saw. But the corpses have rotted, and there is such a terrible smell that we can’t breath. We need to grow up. We need to open the doors of the closet and hold funerals. Society is coming to that point. But we need to act faster,” Alaton said in an interview earlier.
