YEREVAN. – The remaining villages in Armenia with Turkic names will be renamed.
The respective decision was made at Thursday’s Cabinet session.
In addition, it was decided to rename an Armenian village with a Persian name.
The name of Shurnukh village in the Syunik Province, however, will remain the same.
