YEREVAN. – The American dollar (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 481.74/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is down by AMD 1.02 from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 544.94 (up by AMD 2.66), that of one British pound was AMD 746.94 (up by AMD 3.10), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.33 (up by AMD 0.01), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 224.74, AMD 17,309.72 and AMD 14,930.72, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 480.25/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 480/$1.
