YEREVAN. – By violating its commitments and contradicting the spirit of regional cooperation, the neighboring Azerbaijan permanently rejects any cooperation, including that related to the control over situation on the border, Armenian Foreign Minister said.

On the other section of the border, Turkey continues its blockade that hampers regional cooperation, Edward Nalbandian said during the Conference of Regional and Local Authorities for the Eastern Partnership.

Foreign Minister also touched upon cooperation between Armenia and Georgia within different projects, describing it as a positive change in this context.

The Conference of Regional and Local Authorities for the Eastern Partnership, also known as “CORLEAP”, is the political forum of local and regional authorities from the European Union and the Eastern Partnership countries. CORLEAP is the only EU platform that offers an opportunity to discuss the contribution by cities and regions in the development of the Eastern Partnership.
