YEREVAN. – As a result of laboratory tests, intestinal E. coli bacteria were found in the food samples taken from the cafeterias of the schools in Baghramyan and Aygezard villages in the Ararat Province.

Press service of the State Service for Food Safety of Armenia informed about the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am, and regarding the mass poisoning that was recorded recently in these two rural communities.

On September 10, over forty schoolchildren from Baghramyan and Aygezard villages were taken to the Artashat town medical center.

A criminal case is opened into the incident. An investigation is in progress.
