Staff of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has officially confirmed that he will be arriving in Moscow on Wednesday.
The respective statement released by the staff noted that the trip will be a one-day visit.
Last weekend, members of the Office of the President of Turkey had told TASS news agency of Russia that even though Erdoğan’s expected visit to Russia is at the preparatory phase, a final decision is not yet made.
The Turkish president will visit the Russian capital city to attend the official opening of a large mosque, on the eve of the Muslim Feast of Sacrifice.
