Beril Dedeoğlu and Cüneyd Düzyol have become Minister of European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator and Minister of Development, respectively, in Turkey.

The aforesaid is noted in a statement released by the Office of Prime Minister of Turkey.

On Tuesday, Pro-Kurdish “Peoples’ Democratic Party” (HDP) members Ali Haydar Konca and Müslüm Doğan, who held the abovementioned offices, correspondingly, in the current interim Turkish government, had stepped down as a sign of protest against the ongoing violence in the southeast of the country.

Dedeoğlu is the Chair of the International Relations Department of the Galatasaray University in Istanbul.

Düzyol was formerly Undersecretary to the Development Ministry of Turkey.
