STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 260 times, from Thursday to early Friday morning.

During this time, Azerbaijan fired more than 4,000 shots in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, mortars and grenade launchers, reported the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ministry of Defense (NKR MOD).

The adversary also fired—against the Armenian military positions—from a Turkish-made reactive rocket propelled howitzer.

As a result of the retaliatory actions taken by the vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, the adversary’s “activeness” was quelled.
