YEREVAN. – The most powerful and impressive Armenian Genocide Centennial commemorations were held on April 24.
The Minister of Diaspora, Hranush Hakobyan, stated the aforementioned at Friday’s experts’ forum devoted to the genocide, and entitled “I remember and demand”—which is the slogan of the Armenian Genocide Centennial (PHOTOS).
“On that day, the [Armenian Genocide Centennial commemoration] events in many countries were primarily manifested in the form of demonstrations and demands,” said Hakobyan.
She noted that the research centers in virtually all countries—including in Istanbul and Ankara, Turkey—have reflected on the Armenian Genocide.
“This year showed that if we [Armenians] want, we’ll do a lot of things,” added the minister. “And if we’re shoulder to shoulder, we’ll move mountains.”
