YEREVAN. – The American dollar (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 475.35/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is up by AMD 0.75 from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 530.30 (down by AMD 1.32), that of one British pound was AMD 723.58 (down by AMD 0.88), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.25 (up by AMD 0.10), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 225.84, AMD 17,263.71 and AMD 14,298.04, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 5,090,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 475.98/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 476/$1.
