Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking to the CBS and the PBS televisions, noted that there are no problems in Russia with respect to sexual minorities, and this subject matter is exaggerated for political motives, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
In his words, this issue is deliberately exaggerated in order to portray Russia as an enemy.
Putin added, however, that the advocacy of homosexuality is prohibited solely among minors in Russia, and this is not undemocratic.
