Roughly two third of people, who have accounts in such social networks as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat, intentionally post photos on which their life seems full of adventures. And this works: over 75% of users judge about the weekdays and leisure of their friends by what they see on the pages. These data were received during a survey conducted by one of the smartphone producers.

It’s interesting that 6% of users falsify the images adding various objects via special programs. Over half of the respondents stated they post the images of different objects and places, which they visited only to make jealous their friends and relatives, Vokrug Sveta writes.

According to the behavioral psychologist Jo Hemmings, this tendency isn’t surprising.  “Currently we live in a world of instant communications. Enameled magazines with their recommendations have displaced the social networks, where same-status people give advice to each other. Photos, which instantly become public domain, let us know what our friends wear and what celebrities buy,” he said. The psychologist’s words confirm the survey data, according to which 76% of users of such services as Instagram, buy an item after seeing it in a social network.
