YEREVAN. – On Wednesday evening, Armenian Presidential Chief of Staff Vigen Sargsyan met with the Foreign Ministry officials, Hraparak daily reported.
“They were to discuss the counter measures [to be taken] in connection with the anti-Armenian reports—[Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) MP] Robert Walter’s [United Kingdom, EC] so called “[Escalation of Violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and Other] Occupied Territories [of Azerbaijan]” as well as [PACE MP] Milica Marković’s [(Bosnia and Herzegovina)] about Sarsang Reservoir [in Nagorno-Karabakh]—that are included in the PACE plenary session to start in mid-January, [and] to develop the approach in this direction, with the [Armenian] Diaspora-Europe-Armenia tandem, to bring all opportunities to light.
“A reference was made also to the PACE representatives’ [negative] assessments given to the [recent] referendum [on constitutional amendments in Armenia],” Hraparak wrote.
