Almost half of the passengers who had to take a return flight on FlyDubai plane, have refused to do so, the Russian Tourism Industry Union said, RNS reports.

“According to the preliminary information, 50 people, i.e. 40 percent of the total number of the passengers, have withdrawn from the flight which was to take place from Krasnodar to Dubai today,” spokesperson of the Russian Tourism Industry Union, Irina Tyuina, said.

Russian Railways CJSC earlier said that it would transport from Rostov to Moscow all the air passengers who weren’t able to fly from the airport.  

A FlyDubai airline passenger plane, which was en route from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Rostov-on-Don, Russia, crashed near the Rostov-on-Don airport, on Saturday at 4:41am Armenia standard time.

The aircraft fell and burst into flames while attempting to land.

All 55 passengers and 7 crewmembers, including 11 foreigners, were killed in the air disaster.

The plane crashed 50 to 100 meters from the runway and split into several parts because of poor visibility.
