In 2016, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts a 1.9 percent GDP growth for Armenia.

The respective prediction for 2017 is 2.5 percent.
Also, as per the IMF, inflation in Armenia will be 2.6 percent in 2016, and 4 percent in 2017.
Furthermore, the IMF forecasts that country’s current account deficit will amount to 4.3 percent of the GDP this year, and 5.1 percent of the GDP next year.
According to the IMF, the unemployment rate in Armenia will be 18.2 percent in 2016, and 18.3 percent in 2017.
