The U.K. is not included in Schengen zone, while the initiative for visa-free regime for Turks belongs to the countries of Schengen zone, the U.K. PM David Cameron said during his speech at the session of the House of Commons.
In his words, the U.K. hasn’t and won’t make such a decision. To the question related to the liberalization of visa regime between the EU and Turkey, the British PM recalled that the U.K. isn’t included in the Schengen zone. This relates more to those who want to visit the country, and not those who want to settle and work there, he added.
The Turks travelling to Schengen zone countries don’t have a right to visit the U.K., he stressed.
