Rai Italian state TV channel (historic Storia) will broadcast a documentary on the Armenian Genocide. The film will start at 11:00 on Sunday. Andrew Goldberg is the film director.

The film presents interviews with a number of researchers, including Peter Balakian, Samantha Power, Ron Suny, Israele Charny, as well as Turkish scholars Taner Akcam and Halil Berktay. The text is read by Julianna Margulies, the fragments being synchronized by Ed Harris, Natalie Portman, Laura Linney and Orlando Bloom, Rai website reports.

The council of the Armenian community of Rome earlier expressed concern about the absence of a documentary program on the Armenian Genocide on Rai Italian state TV channel. The program was announced for last Saturday.
