The task “to be ready for the restoration of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan” has been set before the country’s Armed Forces, the Azerbaijani Defense Minister, General-Lieutenant Zakir Hasanov said at a military consultation Saturday.
“This is what the government expects from us and what the people demand. We have all conditions in place for this: economic, financial, military and demographic. The entire personnel – from soldier to general – must be ready to battles for the restorations of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan,” Hasanov’s press-service reports.
In early April, Azerbaijan unleashed unprecedented aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh, during which the civilian population was also attacked. The OSCE Minsk Group, all world leaders and leading international organizations called for the fastest ceasefire, stating that there is no alternative to the solution of Karabakh conflict.
However, Azerbaijan continues making warlike statements.
