YEREVAN. - Any state contributing to the commitment of genocide must be excluded from any talks and be called an enemy regardless of how powerful that state is, Greek parliament MP Antonis Balomenakis said Saturday in his speech at II Global Forum Against the Crime of Genocide in Yerevan.

Apparently, the MP continued, the internatioanl recognition of the Genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire in the Black Sea region is an issue of justice. “Although long time has past, the recognition of genocide is required, and there is no period of limitation for this. We think that the actions of the international preventive institutions are very important. Loss of human lives and property must be punishable. And the fear for punishment can make any country think twice before committing a crime against humanity in the future,” Balomenakis said.
