The world oil prices on Tuesday are actively growing as the US dollar becomes cheaper against the yen to the record low in 2014, according to the auction data. As of 07.52 MSK, the price of July futures of Brent oil mix rose by 0.79 % - to 46.19 dollars per barrel; the price for June futures of the WTI rose by 0,56 %, to 45.03 dollars per barrel , reported RIA Novosti.
According to Virendra Chauhan, the oil analyst at Energy Aspects, a weak exchange rate of dollar is one of the reasons for the increased cost of the black gold .
The dollar against the yen dropped to 105.99 yen from 106.40 yen per dollar at the previous closing . Thus, the currency pair, 106,40 yens for one dollar, have had the record-low value since October 2014. The reduction of the US currency makes oil traded in dollars cheaper for investors who have foreign currency . On the other hand, some traders point to the growth of oil production in the Middle East and concerns of investors for the economic situation in China. Those factors do not allow the price of oil to rise.
Iraq, the second largest exporter of OPEC, previously reported an increase in exports . Shipments from the southern regions of the country in April made 3.364 million barrels per day. For comparison , in March, Iraq exported 3.286 million barrels of oil per day. The production of Saudi Arabia in April amounted to 10.15 million barrels per day . The Iranian authorities have increased the export of the black gold to nearly 2 million barrels per day, whereas at the beginning of 2016 they reported only about 1 million barrels a day.
