The delegation headed by President of the General Council of Hauts-de-Seine and deputy Patrick Devedjian will arrive in Armenia.

The purpose of the visit is prolongation of the agreement on decentralized cooperation between the Department of Hauts-de-Seine and Tavush region and acquaintance with the implementation of agricultural development in the framework of cooperation programs.

The members of delegation will take part in the opening ceremony of the expanded part of creamery of Lusadzor, will visit two microfarms which received assistance from the French department, as well as will speak to the cattle breeders. They will also meet the farmers using irrigation canals which have been restored thanks to financing from the Department.

On May 25 the members of delegation will meet the governor of the Tavush region for discussion of issues of cooperation which continues for already 6 years. During a meeting prolongation of the agreement on the decentralized cooperation for 2016 - 2020 will be signed.

The Department of Hauts-de-Seine promotes development of the livestock breeding in the Tavush region with the help of the program implemented by the French affiliate of the Armenia Fund. Investments amounting to over 4.2 million euros are already being carried out.
