About 2.5 thousand refugees have disappeared from the Finnish reception centers, the contact with them has been lost, the law enforcement agencies of the country do not know the destination of these people, MTVZ TV channel reported  on Saturday quoting Finnish security police..

 “It's a risky situation, we do not know who these people are, why they have come here and how they currently make their living, if they haven't obtained asylum but decided to stay here,” said Sanna Palo, head of the Central Bureau of Investigation.

“A serious threat is posed by the fact that there are a lot of people who initially came using false documents or didn't have any papers whatsoever,” she added.

According to the Migration Service, about 32.5 thousand refugees from different countries, mainly immigrants from Iraq arrived in Finland in 2015. At the same time the number of asylum-seekers was only about four thousand in 2014. According to estimates of the Finnish authorities, rejected asylum seekers composed two-thirds of the 32.5 thousand arrivals.
