The German press, quoting the Ministry of Finance estimates, rreported that the country expects to spend around 93.6 billion euros by the end of 2020, Reuters reported.
It is noted that the estimate is based on the expenses on resettlement, integration and language courses, social security of refugees, as well as on fight against the migration reasons to Europe.
According to the plans, nearly 16.1 billion euros will be spent this year, and by 2020 the annual expenses will increase to 20.4 billion.
Officials based their estimates on 600,000 migrants arriving this year, 400,000 next year and 300,000 in each of the following years, the news agency reported.
At the same time federal states plan to spend 21 billion euros for refugees in 2016, and the annual expenses could rise up to 30 billion euros by 2020.
