Customs Intelligence and Investigation officials seized 10 gold bars, wrapped in tissue papers and scotch tape, found in a waste bin at a toilet of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Bangladesh, early Monday, Gazeta reported quoting Dhaka Tribune.                                                                           

It was reported that customs officers found 10 bars with a total weight of 3 kg. The market value of a the bars is estimated at $190 thousand. All the gold will be transferred to the central bank of the country.

According to the newspaper, customs service worked on aiming and found gold an hour later after the beginning of searches. The police are trying to find the suspected smuggler. The international flights from Kuala Lumpur, Doha and Qatar landed approximately at about the same time, it is still unclear where the smuggler arrived from.
