Several fatalities were reported Thursday evening after a helicopter crashed in a field near a cluster of homes in the northeast metro city of Lino Lakes, Star Tribune reported.

The reason of the crash and the exact number of casualties were still unknown but resulting fire thoroughly destroyed the craft.
