Bodies of 18 people were retrieved, nine were still reported missing as a result of landslide which occurred in China's eastern province of Zhejiang on September 28. A search operation in underway, Xinhua reported.

According to information, 1,684 rescuers have been mobilized for search and rescue efforts, and 277 machines have been used to pump water from the barrier lake, smash rocks, and remove debris.
