The German government has approved trade and cooperation agreement between the EU and Canada, said the German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel. He defined the document as a " good and modern agreement,” reports the DW.   The agreement faced a resistance in Germany. The collective claim on behalf of 125 thousand people submitted to the German Constitutional Court was the largest in the history of Germany.  The court rejected the claim on October 13. The agreement on the free trade was expected to be signed on October 27 at the EU-Canada summit. However, the EU postponed that event, because of the position of Belgium, which did not support the ratification of the agreement.
