"The US is not a banana republic, but a powerful country. Correct me, if I am wrong," Putin said. He described statements about Russia’s intents to make an attack, as “stupid” and “senseless”. "The point is that Russia is not going to attack anyone. It is ridiculous. I have read not only the research of those who are present here but also the ones that the US and European analysts published. It is absurd, stupid, and unrealistic" he said.
