138 people were killed, another 400 are missing due to heavy floods in North Korea, reports the NHK, referring to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Around 70 thousand people have been left homeless. The victims of the flood are living in tents and need food and drinking water. The temperature in November is expected to be 15 degrees. The ICRC estimates that the international humanitarian aid should make $ 15.5 million; only 25 percent of that amount is collected though.
