ETCHMIADZIN. – Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, attended the official concert that was held on Tuesday evening in Moscow, on the 70th birth anniversary of Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kirill I.

The concert was followed by a reception, during which the Catholicos of All Armenians extended his congratulations to the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia on his 70th birthday, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Information Services informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, Karekin II thanked Kirill I for his fatherly care toward the Armenian Church dioceses in Russia, and for the Russian Orthodox Church’s mediatory mission of contributing to achieving a pacific settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict, and organizing trilateral talks together with the Catholicos of All Armenians and the spiritual leader of Azerbaijan.
