YEREVAN. – The imbalance in Armenian-Israeli relations is due to several objective reasons, Caucasus Institute Deputy Director, analyst Sergey Minasyan, told NEWS.am.

In his words, one such reason is the transfer of 20 percent of Azerbaijani oil to Iran. 

As per Minasyan, the Iranian factor is another reason.

“Azerbaijan is a certain platform for Israel, for the penetration of reconnaissance units into the territory of Iran,” he added.

Also, the political scientist expressed a view that these and some other objective reasons are consequence of not-so-best Armenian-Israeli relations.

Furthermore, Sergey Minasyan expressed a conviction that the problem is not in the passiveness by Yerevan, but in the wish of Israel.
