YEREVAN. - The workers of power structures must be restricted in joining political parties.  Minister of Justice of Armenia, Arpine Hovhannisyan, stated the aforementioned in the parliament on Wednesday, introducing the new bill on the constitutional Law on Political Parties in the second reading.

According to her, the provision on these restrictions is stipulated by law, but there is no mentioning about a direct ban.

“In legislative acts concerning each agency we will determine who has such restrictions and to which extent. But we cannot completely ban the partisan activity of the representatives of power structures,” Hovhannisyan added.
