French parliament approves the decision to extend the state of emergency till June 14, 2017, reports Reuters. 288 MP of the French National Assembly voted in favor of this decision, whereas 32 voted against.

Earlier it was reported, that the French government proposed to extend the emergency state in the country because of receiving continuing threats of terrorist attacks. The French President Francois Hollande's proposal of emergency was imposed last year, after the terrorist attacks on November 13.

On November 13, 2015 in Paris and Saint Denis suburb there were carried out a series of attacks by three coordinated terrorist groups. 130 people were killed and more than 350 injured.
