YEREVAN. - Armenia will announce a competition for the construction of a center by Yeraskh village.

Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of Armenia, Davit Lokyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.

In his words, in this case the Iranian tourists will have a place to stay at on their way to Yerevan, and not only overnight. ''Of course, there are hotels on the way to Yerevan but such a center will have shops, dining halls and baths so that one can have a place to pass his time before arriving in Yerevan,'' he added.

It is planned to build the center near Yeraskh village, not far from the border with Nakhchivan, where the road goes down from southern Armenia to Ararat plain.

''The project was discussed with Iranian colleagues but it is open to everyone. Any investor can come up with his project. I think progress can be expected in a few months,'' the Minister concluded.
