The head of International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde is found guilty of negligence in discharging her duties. It was ruled by the French court on 19 December, though no punishment was imposed, reports DW.

According to the investigation, Christine Lagarde, while holding her ministerial office, had an impact on decisions to pay from the state budget a compensation to Bernard Tapie, when Tapie sold his share in Adidas to Crédit Lyonnais bank. The amount together with interest made up to 403 million euros.
