YEREVAN. – As of 2017, the working group of Armenia will launch negotiations with its European Union (EU) partners, and with respect to joining the European Common Aviation Area (ECAA).

Head of the Armenian Government-Affiliated General Department of Civil Aviation, Sergey Avetisyan, noted the aforesaid at a press conference on Tuesday.

He recalled that during the last round—in early December—of the talks regarding a new Armenia-EU framework agreement, Yerevan received a mandate for negotiations on Single European Sky, and that these talks will start next year.
