YEREVAN. – A lawmaker from Armenia’s ruling party has called for more resolute and tough actions against Belarus.

Injustice displayed in case of Alexander Lapshin should not repeat, MP Hovhannes Sahakyan said in the parliament on Wednesday.

“Let's leave the legal aspect about whether Belarus could extradite Lapshin to Russia, as he is a citizen of Russia. We have a very important task to deal with the public and political figures who visited Nagorno-Karabakh and were blacklisted by Azerbaijan,” said Sahakyan.

The MP urged all colleagues and journalists concerned about right to freedom of expression and freedom of movement, to make sure that all could come to Karabakh to make Azerbaijan’s black list even larger.
